What you get

Every item is covered against functional failure for [DOA WINDOW] from delivery, whatever its condition grade. Where a manufacturer's or distributor's warranty applies and runs longer, the longer period is what you get, and the cover for a specific item is stated on its product page where it differs from this page.

Product condition

We list new, factory refurbished and third-party refurbished stock, and the condition is stated on every product page and in the page's structured data. A refurbished item has been previously owned or returned, then tested and restored to working order. It is not new, we never describe it as new, and it may show cosmetic wear that does not affect function. Cosmetic wear disclosed in the condition grade is not a warranty fault.

What is covered

• Failure of the item to function as described under normal use
• Component failure not caused by accident, misuse or modification
• Missing or non-functional accessories supplied with the item

What is not covered

• Accidental damage, liquid damage, and damage from power surges
• Consumables and wear items, including battery capacity loss over time
• Damage from unauthorised repair, disassembly or modification
• Software problems, operating system faults and data loss
• Cosmetic wear disclosed in the item's condition grade

Making a claim

Email contact@essentialsetup.com with the order number and a description of the fault, including photographs or a short video where the fault is visible. We will confirm whether the item needs to come back for inspection. Approved claims are resolved by replacement or refund at our option, normally within 10 business days of the item reaching us.

Your implied warranty rights are not disclaimed

Because we give you the written warranty described on this page, we do not and legally cannot disclaim the implied warranties that come with your purchase. Nothing we sell is sold "as is". Your rights under those implied warranties run alongside everything above, and this page does not shorten or replace them.

Back up anything you need before sending a device in. We cannot recover data, and storage may be wiped or replaced during service.
